It can connect from the old style SFF-8088 interfaces to the new 12Gb/s HD mini SAS SFF-8644 interfaces. This 2m cable can also be used to connect any old style HPE SAS SFF-8088 external standalone tape drive to the new Mini SAS High Density SAS HBA Cards, such as:
